I call this one Sycamore Sunrise. The wood came from a tree salvaged from the main branch of the Multnomah County Library in downtown Portland — a piece of the city, turned into something you sit around every day. Quartersawn to bring out the full lace grain, which shimmers and shifts as the light moves across the surface. There's nothing quite like it.
84" x 37", finished with Rubio Monocoat and Rubio Sheen Plus for incredible depth and protection. Handcrafted in Portland, OR.
