Custom Walnut Desks
I build every walnut desk by hand in my Portland workshop. A desk is more than just a work surface, it’s where you focus, create, and spend hours each day. Walnut is one of my favorite hardwoods to use because it’s alive with character, shifting from deep chocolate browns to flashes of red, purple, and golden sapwood. Some boards are calm and straight-grained, while others ripple with bold figure. I select each board for balance and personality, so your desk feels inspiring, functional, and uniquely yours. Finished with a VOC-free, food-safe oil, walnut develops a warm, rich depth that only grows more beautiful with time.
