I build every walnut console table by hand in my Portland workshop. Walnut is one of the most expressive hardwoods, with tones ranging from deep chocolate browns to flashes of red and purple, often balanced by golden sapwood. Some pieces are calm and straight-grained, while others ripple with bold figure. I personally select each board for balance and character, ensuring your console is unique and full of life. Finished with a VOC-free, food-safe oil, walnut glows with warmth and depth that only gets better with age.
