Every madrone coffee table I build starts with boards full of personality. Madrone has a creamy base streaked with bold reds that set it apart from any other Northwest hardwood. It's dense, dramatic, and has a weight and presence that makes even a small coffee table stand out. I select each board to highlight that natural contrast, giving you a table that feels alive in your space. Finished with VOC-free Rubio Monocoat, a hand-rubbed oil that keeps the wood looking and feeling like wood, then paired with your choice of custom steel legs.
Every coffee table is paired with custom steel legs fabricated by my longtime partner In Front Metal. Legs are finished with a natural blackening process for an organic matte appearance, or a polished brushed steel finish.
