Custom Hardwood Restaurant Tables | Portland, OR
A restaurant table takes a beating. It needs to hold up to daily service, spills, heat, and years of hard use without losing what makes it beautiful. Every restaurant table I build is finished with a two-part catalyzed urethane, sprayed for a durable commercial-grade surface that protects the wood for the long haul. Leg styles are chosen to fit your floor plan and seating configuration, and if none of my standard designs fit your space, we can build something custom.
The wood itself is sourced through my partnership with Goby Walnut, one of the premier salvaged hardwood suppliers in the world. Walnut, white oak, madrone, and other Pacific Northwest species, each slab hand selected by me for color, grain, and character.
Most restaurant orders are sets. Each table is its own piece, unique in grain and figure, but built to consistent dimensions and finished to match. The result is a dining room that feels cohesive without feeling like it came out of a catalog.
Not Your Standard Restaurant Table
Guests notice the tables. A room full of handcrafted hardwood tops tells them something about the restaurant before they've opened a menu. The grain, the color, the weight of real wood under their hands. These aren't pieces that blend into the background. They're conversation starters. Diners ask about them, come back because of the experience the room creates. That starts with what's on the floor.
Come See the Wood
If you're in Portland, come by the shop. For a commercial order across multiple tables, seeing the wood in person makes a real difference. You can look through the slabs, get a feel for the grain and color, and leave with a clear picture of what your dining room is going to look like. If you're further away, I'll guide you through the process with photos and updates so you feel confident in every decision.
Let's Talk About Your Restaurant
Every project starts with a conversation. Tell me about your space, your timeline, and what you're looking for, and I'll take it from there.
