Portland was dubbed "Stumptown" in the mid 1800's after massive logging stripped the douglas fir forests around Portland leaving thousands of tree stumps behind.  That lumber went on to be used to build the barns, homes, and buildings that became Portland.  Now 160+ years later we work with people who painstakingly deconstruct those structures, and we give that very same old growth lumber new life.

This is a former Gresham, OR barn we turned into several incredible tables.
